NRF Big Show 2012 attendees who donate $20 to The Retail Orphan Initiative (RetailROI) will take home a Build-A-Bear Workshop Teddy Bear. In an initiative designed to raise funds for charities sponsored by RetailROI, Oracle is providing 2,000 Build-A-Bear Workshop Teddy Bears dressed in a custom RetailROI t-shirt at Oracle Booth #1319.

"Along with creating awareness and helping companies leverage their strengths to help kids, Retail ROI raises funds for ‘feet on the street' charities who are making a real difference for orphans and vulnerable children here in the US and worldwide. We appreciate this initiative by Oracle and Build-A-Bear Workshop and we hope that NRF attendees will participate by making a donation and taking a bear home to their own children or donating one for a child in need right here in the US," said Greg Buzek, Co-Founder, Retail ROI.

The bear is nicknamed "Singer Bear" in memory of Paul Singer, who's work on behalf of global adoption organizations inspired others to found RetailROI. RetailROI is a charitable foundation under the umbrella of the Giving Back Fund, and was established to help the 400 million orphaned and vulnerable children worldwide. RetailROI provides grants to charities that provide hands-on effort in orphan care, including food, shelter, medical, clothing and education, foster care and adoption support organizations, grants and zero-interest loans for adoption, child rescue from human trafficking and life skills training for orphaned and vulnerable children.
