The pressure to improve operational efficiency without additional manpower is a constant in the business world. In warehouse, distribution, retail and other similar environments, mobile computing – the ability for workers to access a company's enterprise applications wirelessly – offers that efficiency. Although many organizations have maximized the value of their current operating systems by adding this functionality, other companies in these industries avoid investing in mobility solutions for several reasons.
