Partner Tech, the leading innovator in solutions-based Point of Sale solutions products, is announcing the release of the Partner Tech M1-POS Enterprise PDA complete with integrated WLAN, GSM, and GPRS wireless communication. The M1 POS is the result of years of research and developing a mobile solution based upon the requirements of several key markets.

The M1 POS is a rugged hand held that supports Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 and is offered with a 2 inch thermal printer and a ISO 7811 3 track MSR as a standard. The M1 POS has an Intel Xscale PA270 520MHz processor with 128MB of Ram that is upgradeable to 256MB. The Wireless networking capabilities include 802.11 b/g, GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), and GSM (General System for Mobile Communications). The M1 POS can also be configured to support data collection via an integrated Laser scanner. Other options are available include a docking cradle, leather carrying case.

Providing everything needed for mobile data transmission, the M1-POS is a PDA, thermal printer, and card reader all in one. The M1-POS is an ideal solution for complex applications in the service provider, public transport, logistics, and the retail/wholesale segments and hospitality market places. Additional optional features are available, such as a barcode scanner attachment and/or a GSM/GPRS module.
