Retail Anywhere, one of the leading developers of point of sale and retail management solutions, recently announced its OEM partnership with Cognos, the world leader in business intelligence and performance management solutions. The new partnership allows Retail Anywhere to integrate Cognos 8 Business Intelligence (BI) into its Retail Anywhere Enterprise application, delivering a robust solution for reporting, analysis, scorecarding, and dashboards.

Retail Anywhere's Enterprise solution is used by small to mid-size retail chains for complete retail management – from inventory control and merchandising to store operations, sales information, and customer relationship management. Tightly integrating Cognos 8 BI with Retail Anywhere Enterprise gives retailers a clear and accurate view of their entire retail organization. The new functionality will streamline analysis and reporting of inventory, sales, and customer data and provide retailers with key performance indicators that help to maximize sales opportunities while controlling expenses.
