Visual Management Systems, Inc. ("VMS"), a leading digital surveillance company based in Toms River, N.J., recently announced the release of its TrueHybrid Surveillance Platform ("TrueHybrid SP"). The TrueHybrid SP gives enterprises the flexibility and scalability they need to build a new video security infrastructure or greatly enhance an existing network.

Compatible with analog, IP and even USB cameras, the TrueHybrid SP boasts state-of-the-art video compression and analytical software. Designed to operate as the cornerstone of an enterprise video security system, the TrueHybrid SP distinguishes itself from existing solutions with scalability, high definition video support, data failsafe mechanisms, wide-ranging camera compatibility and efficient use of system resources and available bandwidth.

The TrueHybrid SP receives video feeds from web servers as well as analog, IP and USB cameras. It can record video in high definition and deliver real-time frame rates, ensuring the smallest details are captured. One TrueHybrid SP manages up to 256 inputs and 32 displays, an exponential increase over many traditional DVRs. Despite its robust feature set, the TrueHybrid SP uses comparatively little bandwidth and its full functionality can be accessed remotely at any network location. In addition to dynamic bandwidth and system resource optimization, the TrueHybrid SP offers users numerous storage configuration options and a unique video recording protection process.
