Last month, Demandware, a leader in on-demand e-commerce, announced digital commerce management (DCM), describing it as "a framework that serves as both our product vision and a roadmap that will enable retailers to better manage all of the digital interactions with their customers in a richlybranded way." The cloud-based commerce provider calls DCM "the future of commerce."

We recently caught up with Rob Garf, Demandware's VP of marketing and product solutions, to learn more about DCM and how he views the evolution of commerce in 2012.
