When a vendor is not willing to work with you on price or equipment support, your expansion can be delayed or even constrained. As specialty retailer Play N Trade mapped out its growth plans, it quickly discovered it would have to replace its POS hardware vendor if it wanted to reach 1,000 stores by 2011.
