POS2go Wins Innovative Solution Award For Epson Food Service Labeling Solution At Rockwells Express

Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added Point of Sale (POS) solutions, announced recently that POS2go, a premier provider of POS solutions, received the Quick Service Innovative Solution Award for implementing its Dinerware software solution with Epson's ReStick Label Printer at Rockwells Express, a New York City based quick service restaurant whose concept focuses on custom-made burgers and salads. The award was issued at the third annual Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) and Vertical Systems Reseller (VSR) Magazine Innovative Solution Awards Dinner during the RetailNOW 2010 conference in Las Vegas.
Because Rockwells' burgers have custom-ordered ingredients mixed into the beef making them appear similar, the company needed an alternative to expensive custom packaging to identify orders at a glance. POS2go recommended Epson ReStick Label Printers, which produce a sticky, repositionable receipt that easily adheres to order packaging, enabling employees to quickly identify and deliver the right order to the right customer. Customers with takeout orders can also easily identify and distribute the right order without opening each package. The result is enhanced customer service since customers receive clearly marked, accurate orders, and significant cost savings since custom packaging is not needed.
