Innovation Raised To New Levels With The Gryphon GM4400
Advanced Technology, Versatility and User-Friendliness make Datalogic ADC's Gryphon GM4400 2D Bar Code Reader unmatched
Datalogic ADC, leader in the Automatic Data Capture market, is proud to announce that the Gryphon GM4400 reader is now available in a Datalogic STAR 910MHz radio frequency version. This reader completes Datalogic ADC's range of premium level data collection equipment for general purpose applications in several industries including Retail, Healthcare and Services.
"The Gryphon GM4400 reader has been designed with the customer in mind. Our goal was to offer an efficient and user-friendly product that would enhance the operator's experience. Thanks to Motionix motion-sensing technology, the ‘Green Spot technology' and the non-flickering red illumination, the Gryphon GM4400 reader offers not only the highest level of performance, but also an intuitive device that never tires the user," commented Giulio Berzuini, Vice President and General Manager of the Hand Held Scanning Business Unit of Datalogic ADC.
The GM4400 reader is an area imager that provides true omni-directional reading of both 1D and 2D bar codes, regardless of label orientation. Its highly visible 4-dot aimer used together with Datalogic's patented ‘Green Spot' technology for good read feedback guarantee complete error-free reads every time. Thanks to Datalogic's Motionix motion-sensing technology, the reader can switch from stand mode to handheld mode in an instant, eliminating downtime. This, added to Gryphon's non-flickering deep red illumination for decreased eye strain also creates the ideal reader for noisy and poorly illuminated environments.
The Datalogic STAR Cordless System featured in the GM4400 reader series offers scalable solutions from simple point-to-point applications to point-to-multipoint installations with up to 16 readers connected to the same base station. This system provides narrow band communication that guarantees complete freedom from interference with Wi-Fi infrastructures. It also grants low sensitivity to obstacles like concrete walls or metal shelving.
The user can count on extended autonomy and unlimited mobility thanks to a Lithium-Ion 2100 mAh battery, providing 60,000 scans per charge, and outstanding batch mode capability able to store +1200 linear codes. As far as radio range in the open air is concerned, the GM4400 reader reaches 30.0m/93.4ft.
Whether in the front room, back room, warehouse, specialty retail store, government office, bank or healthcare institution, the Gryphon GM4400 imager series always provides the best suitable solution.
