Kick-Start Your Social Media Strategy

According to an NRF/BIGresearch Consumer Intentions holiday survey, more than a quarter (26.5%) of smartphone owners and 3 in 10 (31.2%) tablet owners said they planned to keep track of retailers' holiday sales promotions through Facebook, and 5.4% of smartphone and 7.7% of tablet owners said they would use Twitter. If you're interested in launching a social media strategy or just looking for some detailed data to get started, The Association for Retail Technology Standards recently announced the release of an educational white paper aimed at helping retailers understand how to leverage social media for their businesses.
