Best Buy Improves Mobile Phone Shopping Experience

From June 29 to July 12, Best Buy customers have the opportunity to be rewarded with a $50 Best Buy gift card with the purchase and activation of a new mobile phone from all carriers including, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint.
Customers can purchase their upgraded phone in Best Buy stores or at Bestbuy.com by following step-by-step guides for an easy online purchase, with the ability to chat with a tech expert for any needed assistance. UpgradeChecker, powered by Best Buy mobile, is available online for customers to check if they are eligible for an upgrade—by entering their account information, Best Buy will find out if they qualify for a new phone from their carrier. Even if customers are not eligible for a new device, they can benefit from the sale by upgrading to monthly installment plans through AT&T Next, Verizon Edge, and Sprint Easy Pay—a budget-friendly plan allowing for payment of phones to be extended over a time span of 20-24 months with device upgrades yearly, or by simply paying off the remaining balance on their current device, customers can purchase a new phone immediately. AT&T Next starts at $65 per month for unlimited text, talk, with 2 GB data. Sprint Easy Pay starts at $55 per month for unlimited text, talk, with 1 GB data. The lowest priced plan for unlimited text, talk, with 250 MB of data at $45 per month is with the Verizon Edge plan. Customers can also choose from the traditional two-year plans with their new phone. Best Buy associates will be on-hand to provide customers with information on each carrier and the difference between billing options, allowing for customers to compare the services and choose the ideal plan.
Once customers purchase their new phone, they receive the $50 Best Buy card in store or by email, and can use it toward their phone purchase. Customers have the option to advance to the new Samsung Galaxy S5 4G—built with Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor for quality performance, 5.1” high-definition touch screen, 16 GB internal memory, 4G LTE speed and more, or the new Apple iPhone 5s—available in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB with features including, 4-inch retina display, ultrafast LTE wireless, FaceTime HD camera, over 900,000 apps from App store, iCloud for storage, iOS 7, and much more.
