Cellular Sales Opens New Asheville Store

Premium Verizon wireless retailer announces third location in the city

Asheville, NC (PRWEB) - Cellular Sales, the nation’s largest Verizon premium wireless retailer with approximately 560 U.S. locations is announcing it has opened a third store in Asheville.

The store, which opened for business on Nov. 25, is located at 1865 Hendersonville Road in the Skyland Plaza shopping center in front of Ingles and across from Earth Fare. Prior to opening, Cellular Sales hired 15 people from the Asheville area to staff the new location.

“Cellular Sales has been serving the people of Asheville for nearly 15 years, and we know this community very well,” Don White, Cellular Sales’ regional director for North Carolina, said. “With a strong history in the business community of Asheville, the Skyland Plaza location represents our first free-standing store here, so that’s exciting for us.”

Cellular Sales, which currently operates stores in 28 states, opened a location in Asheville’s Biltmore Mall in 1997. This marked the company’s first store opening outside of its home state of Tennessee. Cellular Sales has continued to expand in North Carolina since, and it now operates 55 stores in the Tar Heel State.

“North Carolina and Asheville are special places for Cellular Sales, since they represent the starting points for the nationwide growth of this company,” White said.
