Source: Checkpoint Systems, Inc.

Leading U.K. retailer selects intelligent apparel labeling solutions to support merchandise of high-fashion designer.

For major retailers partnering with the apparel industry’s top designers, no detail is too small. Every pattern, every stitch, every presentation of the designer’s brand image must be perfect. So when leading U.K. retailer Sainsbury’s wanted to ensure that a major designer’s clothing range featured in their stores was perfectly presented, the retailer took great pains to deliver a perfect solution – including the apparel labels.

To make that goal a reality, Sainsbury’s has chosen Checkpoint Systems to create stylish labels and swing tickets for its new Gok for TU clothing range, designed by fashion expert and TV presenter Gok Wan.

Sainsbury’s selected Checkpoint to provide the barcode labels, care labels, woven labels and swing tickets for the entire Gok range. Checkpoint impressed the retailer with its “Goklike” commitment to excellent design, earning
Sainsbury’s appointment as the sole supplier of labels and swing tickets for the range.

The Gok for TU project builds on a seven year relationship between Sainsbury’s and Checkpoint Systems.
