Cloud computing continues to drive innovation across the retail industry and helps improve the customer experience.
In recent years, retailers have been grappling with how to pin the cloud to the ground, and as Verizon’s State of the Enterprise Cloud report revealed last year, it appears that they are now finding something suitable to hang their operations on. 2013 represented a tipping point for the retail industry as more companies found themselves in a place where they could no longer overlook the value proposition of the cloud, including the economics, operational efficiencies, and flexibility offered.
