The report evaluated vendors of POS software installed among the top 250 retailers in the specialty softgoods space and ranked the top 10, with Epicor topping the list. Vendor rankings were based on total number of vendor accounts among the leading 250 softgoods retailers, estimated number of POS systems running the vendor's software based on store count and lanes per store data, and the retail revenue represented by vendor accounts. When it comes to POS software solutions for softgoods retailers, the report found Epicor Retail has more clients, installations, and managed retail revenue than Micros, Oracle, JDA, SAP, and any other POS software provider.
