Field & Stream Specialty Store Announces Grand Opening Celebration In Troy, MI

Event Includes a number of Special Appearances

Pittsburgh, PA /PRNewswire/ - Field & Stream, a specialty retail concept carrying the best brands to meet the evolving needs of hunters, anglers and outdoor enthusiasts, will be opening its first store in Michigan and 11th store nationwide on Thursday, March 26th at Oakland Mall in Troy, MI (750 West 14 Mile Road).

The four-day grand opening celebration will run through Sunday, March 29th. The store will open at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday and Sunday and 9:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Thursday at 10 a.m.

"We believe that Field & Stream is where traditions begin," said Jack Barnes, General Merchandise Manager, Field & Stream. "Our newest store here in Troy will provide the expert services and products that enthusiasts of all ages desire to be successful and enjoy the great outdoors."

Several special guests will make in-store appearances during the celebration. On Friday, Troy and Jacob Landry*, as seen on the"Swamp People" television series, will be in-store from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, host of "Savage Outdoors TV" Mike Stroff** will appear from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Bone Collector Nick Mundt** will be in-store from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

On Sunday, Mike Stroff** will be back in-store from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Bone Collector Travis "T-Bone" Turner** will appear from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Children ages 6 to 15 are invited to participate in the Field & Stream Hunt, Cast & Pitch Youth Challenge on Sunday, March 29th from12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

The first 500 adults in line on Thursday will receive a Field & Stream Gift Card, randomly valued between $10 and $500.***
