Fix Overtime In No Time!

New overtime regulations proposed by the Department of Labor are putting retailers in a tough spot. How can businesses manage labor costs, comply with regulations, and keep costs down?

In a recent Reflexis Blog we covered the impact of the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Affordable Care Act and the Obama Administration’s new overtime proposal. The implications of these new regulations will create a significant burden on businesses.

One unfortunate impact will be the loss of Retail’s next generation of leadership. The new proposal would inhibit the growth of managers by making it difficult for them to remain exempt employees while trying to lend a hand and responding to emergencies during the day.
