Gregg Smith, Senior Director Of Loss Prevention For The Children's Place, Wins The Retail Equation's ‘Return To New Orleans For A Super Experience' At NRF Loss Prevention Show

TRE-NRF-Super-Bowl-Winner

The Retail Equation, the industry leader in retail transaction optimization solutions, recently announced Gregg Smith, senior director of Loss Prevention for The Children’s Place, won The Retail Equation’s “Return to New Orleans for a Super Experience” promotion, including two tickets to Super Bowl XLVII to be held in New Orleans in February 2013. Smith and several hundred others entered the contest at the recent National Retail Federation (NRF) Loss Prevention Conference and Expo in New Orleans.

The drawing attracted many retail professionals interested in The Retail Equation’s Verify-2 solution, which is designed to identify the one percent of consumers whose behaviors mimic return fraud or abuse—representing nine percent of all returns and costing U.S.-based retailers $14.3 to $18.4B per year. Verify-2 makes it easy for retailers to provide fair and friendly customer service at the point of return, while still protecting themselves against fraud and shrink.

“The NRF Loss Prevention Show always proves exciting with new technologies and solutions being unveiled,” said Tom Rittman, vice president of marketing for The Retail Equation. “And we were thrilled to give away coveted Super Bowl tickets to Gregg Smith who is one of the industry’s great loss prevention leaders.”
