Helping Retail Loss Prevention Navigate Change
Source: Wren SolutionsBy Amelia Fusaro, president and chief operating officer, Wren Solutions
In the early 1980s, a growing U.S. retailer needed a handful of aesthetically pleasing protective casings for store security cameras, so they approached Clifford “Tippy” Wren. As an inventor and entrepreneur, Wren used his experience in the plastics manufacturing industry and launched his own company, focused on camera housings and components designed specifically for video surveillance equipment. Since founding the company, Wren grew the business from a three-employee manufacturing firm to a multi-million dollar physical security technology company Nearly three decades later, Wren Solutions continues to build on the long-standing heritage in LP that began with those plastic camera covers. Today, as an LP technology provider to leading retailers, Wren’s approach to development and product evolution reflects the changes, and challenges, faced by retailers over time — and a commitment to helping retailers not only keep up, but navigate with ease ahead of change.
