If you attended the National Retail Federation (NRF) show in January, you saw mobile POS showcased everywhere. According to this year’s Annual Store Systems Study by RIS News and IHL Consulting Group, by 2015, over 2.7 million tablets a year will be shipped for use in North American Retail/Hospitality. Retailers apart from Apple Stores that have announced chain-wide deployments of mobile POS solutions include Home Depot, Lowes, Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, Gap, Disney Stores, and Guess.

You can still catch up with Part 1 and Part 2 of this series.
