MOBOTIX Expands North American Sales Team
Company adds business development managers in response to increased demand
MOBOTIX Corp., an industry leading provider of high-resolution, network-based security solutions, recently announced that it has expanded its North American sales force in response to significant growth in North America. The company reported more than a 30 percent sales increase in the Americas in the last quarter. Two new business development managers have been added to address significant demand for MOBOTIX security technologies, which are based on the decentralized approach to surveillance.
Francisco Peral will serve as the Business Development Manager focused on Caribbean, Latin America and Mexico. Peral is a seasoned security industry sales professional with several years of experience in propelling the adoption of IP-based technologies in the region. He previously served as an independent sales representative and security industry consultant for companies such as Genetec and Ionodes, andheld top-tier sales positions with manufacturers such as Verint Systems.
Derek Martinez will spearhead sales in the Northwestern United States and Northwestern Canada, driving growth and managing demand for MOBOTIX's decentralized and cost-effective approach to surveillance. His experience as both an industrysales professional with leading manufacturers, such as UTC Fire and Security, and as a security practitioner at the University of California San Diego, enables him to meet customer needs through his keen understanding of the challengesfaced by both the reseller community and end customers.
