Technology company Edgagement, LLC has released a cloud-based mobile training platform that positions itself at the intersection of mobile and the physical retail worlds. The e-learning technology also increases training ROI by as much as 60 percent over traditional methods, according to its developer.

The new platform can help transform business communications by creating product knowledge forums and modules that makes sales associates as informed as their customers.   Sephora's director of mobile and digital store marketing Johanna Marcus explained: "The big thing is not to think of mobile as just shopping on the go.
