Numerica Credit Union Selects Epson Teller Devices

Epson’s TM-S9000 Teller Device Offers Multiple Advanced Features In One Small Footprint

Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added financial solutions, recently announced the successful installation of its TM-S9000 Multifunction Teller Device at Numerica Credit Union, a provider of a full line of financial products and services including mortgages and business products, to more than 100,000 of its members throughout Central and Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. Epson’s TM-S9000 is ideal for teller stations. It can handle virtually all customer-facing teller processes, including fast desktop check scanning, endorsement printing, cashier’s check printing and receipt printing, as well as ID scanning in a small footprint, which all add up to increased teller productivity and customer satisfaction.

Numerica Credit Union has used Epson thermal receipt printers in its branches for years and decided to upgrade to Epson’s TM-S9000 once Numerica Chief Information Officer (CIO), Kelley Ferguson, saw a live demonstration of the TM-S9000 at the Symitar1 Annual Educational Conference (SEC) and Technology Expo. Because of its fast scan and print speed, superior image quality and small footprint, Ferguson pushed to have Epson’s TM-S9000 installed at Numerica’s downtown branch.

“A teller line that can help members complete transactions quickly is very important to us,” said Ferguson. “When I saw Epson’s TM-S9000 perform at Symitar, I was really impressed with its print speed, scan accuracy and small footprint. Since Numerica installed Epson’s TM-S9000, we have been able to serve our members quickly, so that they can get back to doing the things that are important to them, whether that’s work or play.”

“Epson offers an extensive range of solutions for financial institutions,” said Tom Kettell, director, commercial channel sales at Epson. “Numerica needed fast check scanning and receipt printing speed as well as superior image quality in a small footprint—our Epson TM-S9000 multifunction satisfied their needs.”
