With 50% of the earth's wildlife lost in the last 40 years due to poaching, habitat loss and human-animal conflict, Wild Crossing has created a new platform to connect people throughout the world to support wildlife conservation.

Los Angeles, CA /PRNewswire/ - Wild Crossing, www.wildcrossing.com, has teamed up with wildlife conservation groups including Tusk USA, Animals Asia, Lemur Love and Rhino Conservation Botswana to raise awareness and funding that will help protect the earth's dwindling wildlife. Through the Wild Crossing platform individuals can connect with wildlife NGO's, local artisans and activists from around the globe to learn about endangered wildlife, get involved with conservation efforts and purchase products to support wildlife conservation groups.

Products sold on the Wild Crossing web site are designed by wildlife artists as well as fair trade artisans living near endangered wildlife and include clothing, jewelry, accessories and gifts for women, men and children. Wildlife NGOs receive approximately 20% of total sales while local artisans benefit from an alternative income source that helps reduce poaching and human-animal conflict. Full transparency allows customers to see the exact dollar amount contributed to each wildlife group. Ongoing, Wild Crossing will continue to partner with new wildlife conservation groups and artisans.

In addition to fundraising, Wild Crossing will raise awareness for NGO partners through their Ambassador program.

Wild Crossing Ambassadors include celebrities such as Hector David Jr., an actor with credits including Power Rangers Samurai and the HULU series East Los High. Ambassadors will also include high school and college students who want to help protect and preserve wildlife and are interested in learning about NGOs and advocacy. These young Ambassadors will provide educational outreach within their schools and communities on behalf of Wild Crossing and the NGOs while gaining valuable hands on cause marketing experience.

Founder, Mondy Herndon, stated "If we don't do something now to protect wildlife, our grandchildren will inherit a world devoid of elephants, rhinos, tigers, snow leopards and many other wonderful and amazing animals. It is up to all of us to stand up and fight for wildlife and Wild Crossing has provided the platform that makes it easy to get involved. Whether you contribute by making purchase or connecting with an NGO on our site, sharing our story on social media, or becoming a Wild Crossing Ambassador, you can make a difference."
