Mobile POS And Promotions Drive Growth For This Top Tennis Brand

Florida tennis aficionados are familiar with Tennis Plaza, the retail brand that’s dominated the tennis market there for the past decade with five stores; one apiece in Miami, Aventura, and Doral and two in Orlando. The retailer has also expanded its reach through its site at tennisplaza.com, which consistently ranks nationally among the top five e-commerce sites for tennis gear.

For the past two years, Tennis Plaza has powered its expansion with POS and e-commerce applications from Celerant Technology Corp. Quintin Valiente heads up the cross-channel marketing effort for Tennis Plaza, a task he says has become immensely easier with the Celerant implementation.

Mobile POS Takes Tennis Plaza On The Road

More recently, Tennis Plaza successfully tested Celerant Command Mobile POS in a busy remote store setup. For nearly two weeks each March, Miami plays host to the Sony Open, one of the most prestigious international tournaments in professional tennis. The event attracts more than 300,000 spectators, and Tennis Plaza has the unique distinction of servings as the sole tennis gear retailer operating on-site stores throughout the duration of event.
