Leading Italian retailer for maternity, infant clothing and merchandise expands anti-theft efforts with new solutions

Prénatal, a leading international retailer of maternity, infant apparel and merchandise, has expanded its in-store shrink management capabilities by working with Checkpoint Systems for its stores in Italy and other European nations.

Prénatal, founded in 1947, currently operates 400 stores, primarily in Italy and Spain. The company will work exclusively with Checkpoint during a three-year period to implement antitheft solutions for stores with Radio Frequency (RF) infrastructure.

Prénatal is a major international retailing force, operating physical stores in 21 countries as well as having an e-shop. It specializes in providing a full range of products and services designed to meet the specific needs of the new mother and children from newborn up to 8 years of age. The company has always adopted a philosophy that aims to create a warm and reassuring sales environment. Due to ever larger spaces of its new megastores, families enjoy a shopping experience that is more thrilling and exciting, through which they can select the best solution for their child.
