If you’re not yet familiar with the Internet of Things (IoT), the term refers to Internet-enabled devices that can network and communicate with each other and the cloud, forming intelligent systems that gather and quickly analyze millions of bits of data. As retail customers engage with intelligent devices, retailers can use Big Data analytics to drive a more personalized shopping experience for consumers.
