Swisslog Realizes Its Click&Pick Goods-To-Person Solution At LIDS Sports Group Central Distribution Center In Indianapolis, IN.

LIDS Sports Group launched its newly installed Click&Pick Goods-to-Person Solution, utilizing the award-winning AutoStore robotic storage system at its Central Distribution center. The new solution will allow LIDS Sports Group to expand its storage capabilities and throughput for their extensive product assortment within the existing building.

LIDS Sports Group is a speciality retail leader of officially licensed and branded apparel, headwear and accessories. With a vast assortment of both professional and college sports teams, it serves the core sports fan and fashion conscious, trend-savvy customer.

Swisslog Logistics was commissioned during 2014 to implement the new system into LIDS Sports Group’s existing facility. It is comprised of 22,246 storage bins, 30 Robots and five pick stations. “At Swisslog, we do much more than install simple systems.
