Tyco Retail Solutions Achieves ISO Certification For Global Center Of Excellence
Global Security Management Center Leads the Way in Customer Quality, Efficiency and Responsiveness
Tyco Retail Solutions, a leading global provider of retail performance and security solutions sold direct and through authorized business partners worldwide, recently announced that its Global Center of Excellence (GCOE) in Birmingham, Alabama has achieved the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard. The GCOE is the first centralized application engineering and program management center in the security industry, and within Tyco, to attain this recognition of quality.
Established by the International Standards Organization, ISO 9001:2008 sets a global standard for quality assurance processes to ensure that a company’s products and services are among the best in the world. The ISO 9001:2008 standard is a demanding certification level with stringent auditing, management reviews, and process improvements. The standard identifies requirements designed to help companies create and maintain procedures to ensure quality in their products and services.
The GCOE, which provides customers with a centralized approach to managing and integrating the company’s worldwide security systems, implemented the regulations as a way to confirm its commitment to its global customer base, and demonstrate its dedication to providing high-quality services and innovative technologies.
