Williams-Sonoma Goes Global With Four Brands Simultaneously

Source: NetSuite

Australian launch of four branded sites and brick-and-mortar stores demonstrates the power and agility of integrated global cloud commerce.

Williams-Sonoma, the North America-based retailer of high-quality products for the home, made its first non-franchised foray into global omni-channel retail by opening company-owned and operated stores in Australia, including Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, and West Elm. Not only did the company open four brick-and-mortar locations at once, but the corresponding brands’ e-commerce sites went live simultaneously as well. To accomplish this feat, Williams-Sonoma relied on NetSuite’s SuiteCommerce retail platform. The company selected NetSuite SuiteCommerce as the multi-channel retail and business management platform for its global expansion into Australia and beyond. They went live on NetSuite SuiteCommerce on May 2nd to power the four newly-launched and individually-branded ecommerce storefronts in Australia, combined with NetSuite Retail Anywhere POS as the point-of-sale solution for four new retail stores in the Bondi Junction suburb of Sydney, Australia.
