Anyone who walks into an Yves Rocher beauty care store knows what to expect: style, aesthetics and a pleasant customer experience. In order to provide that kind of environment for its shoppers, the retailer needs to operate at the highest efficiency possible, wasting little time or energy on tasks that take away from running its stores as smoothly and effectively.

Yves Rocher, however, realized that at least one part of their store operations in Italy was performing at less optimal levels – their people-counting system. The stores needed a solution to help them measure the conversion rate of shoppers becoming buyers on that visit, and an existing system they had in place wasn’t reliably providing accurate information, because it was managed directly by store personnel and was subject to tampering by employees.
