Buffalo Jeans endeavored to optimize its merchandise allocations and to find a more efficient and effective way to deliver initial allocations of new styles to each store. The goal was help improve sales and in-stocks while maintaining margins and satisfying customers.
After evaluating other suppliers' alternative solutions and realizing that other replenishment applications are too expensive to implement or too difficult to learn and use, Raymark and Buffalo Jeans' project teams worked together to automate the allocation business process and move from a spreadsheet-based solution to a best in class technology solution, using an automated allocation system.
