Vendor Insight: Successful In-Store Promotions Require Universal Mobile Platform

The mobile revolution is upon us. Merchant campaigns must mobilize their in-store marketing efforts to fully engage with customers. Contemporary in-store marketing campaigns need to have as their platform three things, in order to produce desired results: 1) In-store proximity offers delivered via mobile phone through: GPS, QR codes, NFC, or in-app search 2) A mobile loyalty/gift and offer program tied to both a universal and a store-branded app that allows for real-time redemption of offers and rewards 3) All campaigns and programs must be tied to mobile-wallets seamlessly connected to POS systems.
