Everest Release 5.0 Helps Small Businesses Grow In A Tight Economy

Until the end of this month the product is being used by a number of customers on a "managed availability" basis.
Release 5.0 represents a next generation of productivity features, business process improvements, e-commerce facilities and technology developed entirely with customer input. A product preview was unveiled at the company's April Everest World user conference to overwhelming acclaim by the attendees. According to Ali Jani, Chief Technology Officer for Everest, "This version is intended to help SMBs grow, streamline and manage their businesses in ways that have not been possible previously from a single platform, a single application that is integrated with all their critical business processes."
Customer growth is greatly facilitated through the new Everest eStorefront; it has been designed to attract new customers by providing the kind of high-end shopping experience expected at the largest online or multi-channel retailers. By being completely integrated with backend inventory and sales management, businesses can add products and grow sales without adding staff. Customer retention features have also been provided such as gift cards, gift receipts and check-out options.
Streamlined productivity is another major value of Everest 5.0. Merchants with multiple, similar products and changing product lines will benefit with easy-to-use, rapid matrix management. Receiving and fulfillment has been optimized, accounting procedures have been simplified and automated. Look-and-feel control has been updated with graphics, a user-friendly interface, customizable menus and navigation—all to make previously complex tasks much simpler.
Better business management and efficiency has been accentuated with tools such as key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards. Enhanced reports and audit trails have been added to grant yet more realtime visibility and control. All new Everest functionality has been created to reduce the need for technical knowledge, such as HTML programming, eliminate manual intervention and expedite reliable process management overall.
