Sears, Kmart To Offer Free In-Store Pickup

As early as 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Sears and Kmart stores will be opening their doors for Black Friday shoppers this year—welcoming customers and Shop Your Way members to scoop up amazing deals before the official start of one of the busiest shopping days of the year. The stores will remain open from 6 p.m. Thanksgiving to midnight on Black Friday to serve every customer’s needs—making this year another year following their 23-year tradition to stay open for 42 hours straight.
Two weeks before Black Friday, customers are invited to enjoy a special prelude to exclusive holiday deals that will be offered. At the Sears Family and Friends Event held on Sunday November 9, customers will have the opportunity to combine their gifted 5-15 percent discount from the event along with early Black Friday pricing on everything from clothing, shoes, accessories, tools, and appliances. Customers can find even more deals at sears.com beginning November 8, at 6 p.m. until 9 a.m. Tuesday. Customers receive free shipping with online orders of $59 and up, while Shop Your Way MAX members receive free two-day shipping with a selection of over one million qualifying products. Sears’ expansive online inventory includes over 100 million items for customers to browse through, positioning the retailer as the “largest marketplace on the web.”
Shoppers and Shop Your Way members still have time to take advantage of Kmart’s No Money Down Layaway that is offered until November 15—enabling customers to pick everything they want for the holidays, paying the bill off in affordable timely payments while excluding the regular minimum purchase. Shop Your Way Members that use the popular layaway service for purchasing sports gear, home products, and toys save even more, earning up to 5 percent off each item.
To further convenience shoppers that want to avoid long lines and crowds that the holiday season creates—Sears and Kmart offers Free Store Pickup between both stores, allowing online shoppers to choose products from sears.com to be picked up at their nearby Kmart location. Store employees fulfill the order and load it into customer’s vehicle upon arrival—saving customers from having to step foot inside of the store.
